Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end Operations & Maintenance of BTG (Boiler-Turbine-Generator) and Balance of Plant systems ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient power generation.
- Drive Innovation, Digitalization, and Efficiency enhancement initiatives, including adoption of advanced technologies for predictive maintenance, automation, IoT-based monitoring, and data-driven decision-making.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance for critical equipmentboilers, turbines, generators, CHP/AHP systems, cooling towers, and electrical balance of plant.
- Lead annual overhauling and major/minor shutdowns with strict adherence to cost, quality, and schedule parameters.
- Spearhead SAP implementation and digital workflow integration across O&M processes.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives through reliability improvement, optimized asset utilization, vendor management, and energy efficiency projects.
- Strengthen workforce capability through skill mapping, competency enhancement, and succession planning for O&M teams.
- Coordinate fuel supply and quality assurance in liaison with procurement/logistics to ensure optimal combustion efficiency and emissions control.
- Build strong partnerships with vendors, technology partners, and internal stakeholders for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Thermal power plant operations.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/instrumentation engineering.
- Expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance, outage planning, and reliability improvement.
- Proven ability in vendor management, cost optimization, and team development.
