Located in Punjabs Mansa district, Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd.

(TSPL) represents the largest private thermal power facility in North India, with an installed capacity of 1980 MW, contributing nearly 30% of the states electricity demand.

Meenakshi Energy Ltd.

(MEL) in Andhra Pradeshs Tirupati district has a capacity of 1000 MW, while Vedanta Ltd.

Chhattisgarh Thermal Power Plant (VLCTPP) in Singhitarai village, Sakti district, is a 1200 MW coal-based thermal power plant.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead strategic planning for greenfield and brownfield power generation or transmission projects.

- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle: from concept development, feasibility, and detailed engineering to execution and commissioning.

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Ensure full regulatory compliance throughout project execution.

- Engage with government authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies for permits, policy support, and clearances.

- Work closely with finance to develop CAPEX budgets, project cost tracking, and risk mitigation plans.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth progress and minimize delays or cost overruns.

- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

- Promote innovation in project execution to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

- Build and lead a multidisciplinary project team including project managers, engineers, planners, and commercial professionals.

Education and Qualifications:

- Seasoned professional having capability of handling large-scale capital or growth projects.

- Deep understanding of power sector regulations, energy market dynamics, and power trading mechanisms.

- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills to deal with vendors, partners, and government bodies.
