Job Title: Deputy Chief Commercial Officer FACOR
Location: Bhadrak, Odisha
Reporting To: Chief Commercial Officer FACOR
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities Areas (KRA):
- Oversee end-to-end service contracting processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and dispute resolution.
- Drive MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) procurement and inventory management to support uninterrupted plant operations.
- Strategically manage logistics, ensuring seamless coordination of inbound and outbound transportation of materials and finished goods.
- Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to optimize procurement and operational processes.
- Lead engagements with government agencies, regulators, and external stakeholders for commercial, licensing, and regulatory matters.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best industry practices related to commercial operations.
- Implement SAP and Ariba-based solutions for efficient procurement, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging opportunities in the ferrochrome and related industries.
- Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.
Skillsets & Competencies Required:
- In-depth understanding of coal, chrome ore, fuel, and raw material procurement processes.
- Expertise in service contracting and vendor management, including negotiation, SLAs, and performance evaluation.
- Hands-on experience in MRO inventory management and procurement.
- Proven track record in logistics management, with experience in handling complex supply chains.
- Proficient in SAP (MM, SD modules) and Ariba platforms for procurement automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including government and regulatory interface.
- Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- High attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and process discipline.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA in Operations, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management is highly preferred.
Experience:
- 8 - 12 Years of relevant work experience in procurement, commercial management, operations, or supply chain within large industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in Ferro Alloys, Steel,
Mining, or Heavy Engineering sectors.
