Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Highway Infrastructure Expert to lead and oversee comprehensive highway operations and management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the infrastructure lifecycle-from planning and development to long-term asset management. We are specifically looking for professionals with a strong background in Toll Operations, Highway Management Companies, or Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs).

Key Responsibilities

- Operations & Maintenance: Oversee the end-to-end O&M activities for highway projects to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with national standards.

- Asset Management: Implement strategic asset management frameworks to maximize the lifecycle and performance of highway infrastructure.

- Tolling Strategy: Manage tolling operations, including electronic toll collection (ETC) systems, revenue assurance, and traffic management.

- Project Planning: Provide expert technical input during the planning and development phases of new infrastructure projects.

- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for government bodies (NHAI/MoRTH), concessionaires, and internal investment teams.

- Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to Indian and international engineering standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Undergraduate: B.Tech in Civil Engineering from an AICTE/NAAC recognized or reputed global institution.

- Postgraduate: MBA, Postgraduate Diploma in Management, or a Postgraduate degree in Engineering.

Experience & Skills

- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the highway sector.

- Sector Expertise: Proven track record working with Toll Operators, Highway Management Firms, or Infra Trusts (InvITs).

- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive experience in highway planning, development, asset management, and O&M.

- Geographic Reach: Experience in Indian highway projects is mandatory; exposure to international highway infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of tolling technologies, road safety audits, and pavement management systems.
