Veda Corporate Advisors - Vice President/Assistant Director - New Age & Consumer Sector

ONLY CANDIDATES WITH RELEVANT I-BANKING EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED

We are looking to add a senior profile for our fast growing investment banking team at Veda Corporate Advisors Bangalore office. The role will to be mainly focus on lead execution of deals and supporting in business development efforts. Experience in technology, newage and consumer segments would be added advantage.

Key roles and responsibilities

1. Execute 2-3 deals from the funnel at Veda along with a team. Lead the execution including closure of the deal

2. Pro active research with a view to narrow down relevant deals for Veda across new age segments ( consumer tech, healthtech, saas, fintech, etc.). Candidate must have good connects with with investors in funds with an orientation towards building relevant market intel and leads Supporting directors in BD efforts

3. End to end deal execution from pitching for a deal, converting, taking ownership of collaterals ( IM, model, data pack - metrics, etc.) , Negotiating term sheet, managing due diligence and negotiating definitive documents along with a legal team

4. Leading pitch presentation preparation efforts and timely delivery. Support from director only at a macro level

- Ensuring Preparation/ Management of client deliverables including IM, model etc

- High focus on turnaround of client deliverables especially in time bound deals

- Coordination and process management post term sheet stage

- Manage an associate/ analyst across the deal cycle

5. Candidates willing to travel frequently to liaise with the ecosystem

6. Candidate must be able to lead deals independently and manage end-end deal process .

7. Candidate must also be able to interact independently with funds and companies

Candidate must be based in Bangalore and have relevant experience in investment banking closing deals with new age investors. Qualifications:

- CA or MBA with 7+ years of cumulative work experience preferable in investment banking domain

- Strong knowledge of markets & experience with handling SeriesB/C/D transactions

- Superior analytical skills, must be able to think creatively and achieve results quickly
