vCommission - Manager - Finance

- We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead our finance operations team and oversee end-to-end financial governance under the guidance of the Finance Head.

- This role is critical in driving financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic insights for decision-making.

- A strong background in digital advertising finance is preferred, as the role requires navigating fast-paced revenue cycles, performance-based billing, and multi-entity financial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the finance operations team while managing day-to-day accounting and financial workflows.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and monthly financial reporting with precision and clarity.

- Ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, audits, and internal controls.

- Review and validate P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, reconciliations, and conduct detailed variance analysis.

- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Media Buying, Operations, HR, Tech) for seamless financial governance.

- Implement process improvements, automation, and SOP enhancements to increase accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Provide leadership with data-backed insights, financial models, and business recommendations for strategic decisions.

- Use financial ERPs and accounting platforms to maintain clean books and ensure up-to-date reporting.

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in finance, preferably within digital advertising, performance marketing, or media environments.

- Experience managing finance teams and handling multi-entity operations.

- CA / MBA Finance preferred.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, and statutory frameworks.

- Proficiency with financial tools and systems such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
