- Category Management Strategy
- Create a comprehensive category strategy for pumps to align with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer segments, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
- Supplier & Vendor Relationships
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and long-term contracts.
- Pump Product Lifecycle
- Define product assortment, launch new models, and phase out underperforming products.
- Pricing & Profitability Optimization
- Establish competitive pricing strategies and promotional mechanisms to maximize margins.
- Inventory & Demand Management
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize stock levels, avoid shortages and overstock, and ensure timely delivery.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and customer feedback using analytics.
- Performance Analysis & Leadership
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, inventory turns, and profitability.
- Drive corrective actions where needed.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Create, guide, and mentor team members focused on pumps, ensuring alignment with company objectives and category goals.
Requirements & Skills:
- Education: MBA preferred.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and forecast demand.
- Commercial acumen in supplier negotiation, pricing models, and margin optimization.
- Cross-functional coordination and industry knowledge of pump applications, customer needs, and market dynamics
