Role Overview:
As an FDD-Assistant Manager at VASAN SAMPATH LLP, you will play a crucial role in conducting financial due diligence engagements for our clients. You will work closely with senior team members and interact directly with clients to gather and analyze financial information, identify key risks and opportunities, and prepare comprehensive due diligence reports. Your work will directly impact clients' investment decisions and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of target companies, focusing on key performance indicators, revenue trends, and profitability drivers to identify potential risks and opportunities for clients.
- Review and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assess the financial health and stability of target companies.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports summarizing findings, highlighting key risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with other team members and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive and accurate due diligence assessments.
- Assist in the development of due diligence plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, address queries, and provide updates on the progress of due diligence engagements.
- Participate in overall Learning and Development initiatives of the firm
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial statement analysis, including ratio analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to conduct financial due diligence engagements, including identifying key risks and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
