Strategy Manager - Dairy Business (6-10 yrs)

Purpose of the Job:
The Strategy Manager will work closely with the CSO to drive high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization. The role involves identifying growth opportunities, improving business performance, and supporting leadership in decision-making through data-driven insights, particularly within the dairy/FMCG ecosystem.
Key Deliverables / KPIs:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support annual and long-term strategic planning cycles
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps
- Track execution of key initiatives and drive governance mechanisms
2. Business Performance & Insights
- Analyze business performance across categories.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement levers
- Build dashboards and MIS for leadership reviews
3. Growth & Expansion Initiatives
- Evaluate new market entry opportunities (geographies, channels)
- Support go-to-market (GTM) strategies and distribution expansion
- Assess new product/category opportunities
4. Cross-Functional Projects
- Lead strategic projects across sales, supply chain, and operations .
- Work with stakeholders to drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives
- Support transformation projects (digitization, process improvements)
5. Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Track industry trends, competitor moves, and consumer behavior
- Benchmark performance against peers and identify best practices
6. Leadership Support
- Prepare presentations, business cases, and board-level decks
- Support the CSO in reviews with senior leadership
- Assist in evaluating partnerships, alliances, or inorganic opportunities
Must Have:
Education:
MBA from Tier-1 business schools preferred (IIMs / ISB / FMS / XLRI, etc)
Years of Experience: 6-8 yrs experience in strategy roles in CSO/CEO office. Experience in business modelling and financial analysis
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration, Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Industry Experience Experience in Industries like Dairy, Food Companies
