About the Team: Media Public Relations Manager will be responsible for handling all aspects of planned publicity campaigns and PR activities of the organization. They will be responsible for creating, planning, and executing public relations strategies in order to maintain and enhance the perception of the client's public facing initiatives. What Would This Role Entail? - Identify effective outreach platform mix: Explore ways to effectively engage with voters across traditional and new media. Should keep abreast of latest avenues and effectively engage across these platforms - Ideation and design: Create, ideate, write, and implement to establish client's messaging using all forms of communications - earned, owned, paid and shared - Ensuring 360 degree Campaign Coverage: Organizing and managing promotional activities for all public facing events to ensure maximum exposure and penetration within target cohorts - Real time Monitoring: Monitor the industry's news and sensitize internal and external stakeholders on any possible impact. Conduct analysis of media coverage & provide data backed recommendations for improving share of voice - Nurture media relationships: Serve as a single point of contact for all media queries. Build and maintain media lists, and nurture relationships with channel partners. Network with key media personalities to ensure visibility across all platforms Necessary Skills: - Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication/PR/English from a Tier 1 college - 4+ years of work experience managing PR and corporate communications - Proven experience in developing and executing successful PR campaigns which involves working with PR agencies and project management - Ability to manage end-to-end execution of large scale campaigns involving multiple stakeholders (client, internal stakeholders, vendors, agencies, media, etc) independently - Working proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite and G Suite Good to Have Skills: - Attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Local language proficiency will be preferred - Have a strong bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity - Strong relationships with local media houses & publications If you are an early to mid-career professional looking for a high-impact challenge, interested in joining a team of like-minded and motivated individuals who think strategically, act decisively, and get things done
