Senior Project Manager Science. Position Overview. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Science to lead impactful projects in soil science, crop systems, forestry, and carbon management. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct soil sampling and oversee laboratory analysis.
- Apply and develop models to assess soil processes and carbon dynamics.
- Manage scientific projects related to soil science, crop systems, forestry, and carbon management.
- Analyze data using tools such as Python, R, or similar software.
- Collaborate with teams to align projects with carbon protocols and standards (training provided if needed).
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Soil Science, Crop Science, Forestry, or a related discipline.
- Experience with soil sampling, laboratory analysis, and data interpretation.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R) and/or modeling (e.g., DNDC, RothC, DayCent).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
