Role Overview:
- We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist who can own and scale paid acquisition across both Web and App. This role is ideal for someone who has directly managed high-budget performance campaigns, understands full-funnel growth, and is comfortable working with data, experiments and aggressive growth targets.
- You will be responsible for driving installs/visits, registrations, first paid actions and subscriptions, and for improving key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, LTV and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Strategy & Planning: Design and execute performance marketing strategies for Web + App across Google, Meta and other paid channels.
- Translate business goals (revenue, subscription targets, lead volumes) into channel-wise plans, budgets and forecasts.
2. Hands-on Campaign Management: Run and optimize campaigns on:
- Google Ads Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, UAC
- Meta Ads Conversions (Web + App), remarketing, lookalikes
- Affiliate channels and other relevant paid partners
- Own the daily performance monitoring, optimization and scaling of winning campaigns.
3. Full-Funnel Ownership
Manage the growth funnel:
- Traffic Install/Visit Registration First Paid Action Subscription/Repeat Purchase
- Identify drop-offs at each stage and work with Product / Tech / Design to plug leakages.
4. Experimentation & A/B Testing
Plan and run structured experiments on:
- Creatives, ad copies, formats
- Landing pages and onboarding flows
- Offers, pricing, bundles and funnels
- Document learnings and create a playbook of high-performing experiments.
5. Attribution, Analytics & Reporting
- Set up and use tools like GA4, GTM, Firebase/Appsflyer/Adjust to track events and measure performance.
- Build and monitor dashboards & cohorts (ARPU, LTV, retention, payback period).
- Share weekly/monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.
6. Journey & Conversion Optimization
- Improve Web-to-App journeys, deep links and in-app flows to maximize conversion.
- Partner with Product/Tech to improve page speed, UX, tracking hygiene and event instrumentation.
- Continuously work on CPC, CTR, CVR, CAC, ROAS improvement.
7. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Founders, Product, Tech, Design and Business teams to align campaigns with business priorities.
- Coordinate with agencies / external partners (where applicable) and ensure delivery as per targets.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience with significant exposure to both Web and App campaigns.
- Experience in Astro / Spiritual / Subscription / E-commerce / Lead Gen categories will be a strong plus.
Deep understanding of:
- CPI, CAC, CPP, ROAS, Retention, ARPU, LTV and payback metrics
- GA4, GTM, Firebase/Appsflyer/Adjust or similar analytics tools
- Audience segmentation, remarketing, lookalike modelling, bid strategy optimization
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis, cohort building and reporting.
- Ability to manage monthly budgets, allocate spends across channels and scale campaigns profitably.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with CRM / marketing automation tools such as MoEngage, CleverTap, WebEngage, HubSpot etc.
- Exposure to app-focused affiliates, programmatic buying or OEM inventories.
- Experience working with vernacular / regional audiences in India.
