About the Role:
The Founder's Office is a strategic and execution-heavy pod that works directly with the founders on the most important priorities: revenue, product, customer success, operations, and GTM.
This is a high-impact role for someone energized by early-stage chaos, ownership, and multi-disciplinary execution. You'll help Valyx scale from thousands of crores in receivables processed toward our vision of becoming the default revenue automation layer for Indian and global businesses.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales & GTM (FinTech / B2B SaaS):
- Identify, qualify, and engage CFOs, Finance Heads, Revenue Ops, and Founders of mid-market and enterprise companies.
- Conduct discovery calls, understand finance workflows, pain points, and current tooling.
- Prepare demos, pitch Valyx's value proposition, and drive end-to-end deal cycles.
- Support pricing discussions, contracting, integrations, and onboarding flows.
- Maintain CRM hygiene and prepare sales pipeline dashboards for the Founder.
2. Program & Operations:
- Drive mission-critical internal programs such as:
- New product modules (e.g., auto-reconciliation, rate-card automation, cash application).
- ERP/payment-gateway integrations (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Razorpay, Cashfree, etc.).
- Collections workflow optimization with customers.
- Own program timelines, cross-team coordination, and clear communication.
- Build internal SOPs and process maps for scaling operations.
- Track and measure outcomes for each initiative (effort saved, DSO reduced, workflow improvement).
3. Product Management (Finance Automation + AI):
- Conduct user research with finance teams to deeply understand their processes around billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and collections.
- Translate insights into detailed product requirements, wireframes, and workflow designs.
- Collaborate with engineering on spec writing, sprint planning, and feature rollout.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive finance tasks using AI/LLMs.
- Run small-scale experiments with early adopters to validate product hypotheses.
4. Prospecting, Marketing & Growth:
- Build high-quality prospect lists (finance leaders, revenue ops, account receivable teams).
- Run targeted outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and CFO communities.
- Create clear and concise marketing assets:
a) Case studies
b) Workflow diagrams
c) Product pitch decks
d) Demo scripts
- Support founder-driven content: thought leadership posts, use cases, and problem-solution narratives.
- Analyze which channels deliver the highest conversions and optimize accordingly.
Qualifications:
1. 2-4 years of experience in sales, growth, product, strategy consulting, or investment banking roles.
2. Strong understanding of finance workflows is a plus (invoicing, reconciliation, collections, ERP systems).
3. Exceptional communication skills - especially explaining complex processes simply.
4. Comfortable operating with ambiguity; you thrive in fast-paced, 0- 1 environments.
5. Highly analytical and structured thinker who can take rough ideas to execution.
6. High ownership mindset - you take initiative, follow through, and deliver.
