ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Position :- Management Trainee

Department :- Investment/ Business Research

Location:- Mumbai

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client management:

- Accurate understanding of scope of research assignments/projects

- Meet & surpass the client expectations

- Seek regular client feedback from stakeholders

- Incorporate the feedback & close the loop

Delivery management:

- Meet & surpass the delivery standard set by clients

- Successfully independently deliver variety of research assignments across M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and Advisory, including equity/credit modeling, company tearsheets, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction comps, M&A valuations, and news & impact analysis

- Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction

Marketing, business development, organization development support

- Support on collaterals and samples

- Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content

Educational, experience, and skills requirements:

Preferred: Candidates with a B.Tech degree and an MBA from a premier institution.

- 1-3 years of investment banking/equity/credit research experience with investment banks, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs will be preferred

- Hands-on experience in delivering on areas including equity & credit modeling/valuation (DCF, SOTP, RV), understanding or/& experience on IG, HY, Lev Fin, Distressed & Recovery analysis, initiation coverage notes, investment idea generation, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction comps, and M&A valuation, will be preferred

- Need sound financial/cash flow modeling skills, good analytical writing skills, idea generation capability, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated

- Proven client management experience

- Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is mandatory
