Job Summary : 1. As a data scientist with Pyspark skills you will be required to implement data ingestion codes, write or modify feature engineering pipelines, and implement/integrate existing algorithms. 2. You will be working closely with our Head of AI/ML to deliver high-quality, robust data-driven solutions for the financial services industry. 3. You will be responsible for attending regular client calls, communicating work status and pro-activitely highlighting any delays to the product release. Technical Skills : 1. Hands on experience on pyspark for at least 1 year (version 3.0.0 +) 2. You should be able to set up and configure pyspark development environment locally yourself 3. Run locally developed pyspark jobs on AWS EMR cluster. Prior experience with AWS is desired. 4. Strong knowledge of SQL &amp; Python skills 5. Ability to work on Linux instances on AWS environment 4. Intermediate plus proficiency in shell scripting 5. Knowledge of classification algorithms, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests is desired. Personal Skills : 1. Excellent communication skills, both written &amp; oral. 2. Ability to learn new skills quickly, adjust to the changing needs of the project. 3. You are highly enthusiastic about your work 4.
