Role Overview:

As a Manager/Sr. Manager of Interior Design, you will lead the aesthetic and functional transformation of our retail spaces to align with our brand identity and operational efficiency goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and external vendors, to oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle of new store launches and renovations. Your contribution will directly influence the customer journey, ensuring that our store layouts optimize footfall, enhance product visibility, and maintain a consistent brand experience across our national footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the conceptualization and execution of interior design projects for retail stores to ensure brand consistency and optimal space utilization.

- Develop detailed floor plans and structural layouts using AutoCAD to maximize sales density and improve customer flow.

- Coordinate with structural engineers and contractors to ensure that all interior modifications adhere to safety standards and building codes.

- Manage the procurement of interior materials and fixtures, ensuring quality standards are met within defined budgetary and timeline constraints.

- Oversee site inspections and project monitoring to ensure that the final execution matches the approved design specifications.

- Collaborate with the retail operations team to integrate functional requirements into the design, facilitating a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Required Skillset:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software to create precise technical drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations.

- Strong understanding of structural design principles and interior construction methodologies relevant to high-traffic retail environments.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative design vision with practical operational constraints.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders across different regions.

- Ability to thrive in an on-site work environment, with a willingness to travel to store locations as required for project supervision.

- A degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputed institute, backed by 8 to 12 years of professional experience in retail interior design or related fields.
