V-Mart Retail - Manager - Commercial - CAPEX Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement CAPEX procurement strategies aligned with the company's expansion plans and budgetary guidelines.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for various CAPEX requirements, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions, minimizing costs and maximizing value.

- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from initial requisition to final delivery and payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with the projects team to understand project requirements and timelines, ensuring timely procurement of necessary equipment and materials.

- Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities, implementing strategies to optimize procurement spend.

- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards and contractual obligations.

- Manage and mitigate risks associated with CAPEX procurement, including supply chain disruptions and price fluctuations.

- Prepare and present regular reports on CAPEX procurement activities, highlighting key performance indicators and cost savings achieved.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute CAPEX procurement strategies in a retail environment.

- Proven expertise in sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and relevant industry standards.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 7-10 years of relevant experience in CAPEX procurement.
