V-Mart Retail - Lead/Senior Manager/Manager - Taxation

Tax Compliance & Reporting:

- Prepare, review and file the tax returns (Direct and In-direct taxes) on or before the due dates.

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory tax replies, compliances and documents.

- Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings and provisions.

Tax Planning & Strategy:

- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities.

- Evaluate business proposals from a tax compliance perspective.

- Advise senior management on tax implications of strategic decisions.

Audit & Regulatory Liaison:

- Handle tax assessments and audits (Direct and In-direct taxes).

- Liaising with tax authorities and manage Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and related filings.

International Tax / Transfer Pricing:

- Experience in inter-company transactions, transfer pricing documentation, and benchmarking analysis.

- Familiarity with cross-border tax implications, withholding tax, and treaty benefits.

- Knowledge of GAAR, POEM, and M&A tax structuring.

Tax Accounting & Reporting:

- Skilled in tax provisioning, deferred tax computation, and reporting under Ind AS / IFRS.

- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)for tax data extraction and reporting.

Analytical & Strategic Competencies:

- Tax risk management - identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential tax exposures.

- Strategic tax planning aligned with overall business goals.

- Ability to interpret and implement new tax laws, notifications, and judicial precedents.

- Competence in scenario analysis and forecasting tax impacts of business decisions.

Experience : 3 to 5 Years.

Education : Minimum qualification - CA/LLB.

- Proficiency in market research, business plan creation and presentations skills.

- Strong influencing skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders especially at senior level.
