This role focuses on applying cognitive psychology, behavioral frameworks, and quantitative/qualitative research methodologies to uncover latent user needs and translate them into actionable inputs for product, design, and business strategy. The objective is to enable user-centric, evidence-based decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Behavioral Research & Insights Generation

- Identify underlying cognitive and behavioral patterns including biases such as loss aversion, anchoring, and trust-related decision barriers

- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations

User Experience & Product Research

- Translate research outputs into structured deliverables such as personas, mental models, journey maps, and behavioral frameworks

- Evaluate UI/UX concepts and prototypes through usability testing and validation studies using tools like Figma, Maze, and UserTesting

- Apply behavioral models such as Foggs Behavior Model to assess and improve user engagement and decision-making flows

End-to-End Research Ownership

- Own complete research lifecycle including study design, participant recruitment, segmentation, data analysis, and insight storytelling

- Conduct ethnographic studies, diary studies, and secondary research to identify emerging fintech and behavioral trends

- Contribute to the development of research standards, frameworks, and best practices within the organization

Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Impact

- Partner with product, design, and business teams to translate behavioral insights into actionable interventions, nudges, and experience improvements

- Support key business metrics such as conversion, engagement, retention, and customer trust through data-backed insights

Candidate Profile

- 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Research, Consumer Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Science, or Market Research with a focus on digital user behavior

- Hands-on experience in primary and secondary research methodologies including qualitative and quantitative techniques such as interviews, surveys, ethnographic studies, and behavioral experiments

- Proven ability to analyze user behavior patterns, engagement trends, and digital journeys to influence product and experience design

- Exposure to data analysis or mining of user behavior datasets, integrating research insights with behavioral data

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of behavioral science principles such as cognitive biases, decision science, cognitive dissonance, and consumer psychology

- Experience in usability testing, concept validation, and behavioral experimentation

- Ability to synthesize complex research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations

- Basic understanding of UI/UX and digital product journeys

Education & Background

- Academic background in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Cognitive Science, or related disciplines (BA/MA/MSc/BSc)

- Candidates from institutes with strong behavioral research exposure will be preferred

Preferred Background

- Experience in B2C consumer product organizations such as fintech, consumer tech, e-commerce, or digital platforms

- Exposure to behavioral experimentation, journey analysis, and consumer psychology frameworks applied to digital products

Additional Note

This is not a pure UX Researcher or Data Analyst role. The focus is on Design Thinkingoriented Behavioral Researchers who combine behavioral science, research methodologies, and data analysis to drive product and business outcomes
