Hiring for Global Investment Banking company for the role of US Tax - Full Time Job details: - In this role, you'll oversee and manage tax compliance for existing and new renewable projects located across multiple states in the U.S., and corporate entities. - This will require liaising cross-functionally to formulate, analyze, monitor and implement strategy, compliance and finance management for indirect taxes. - You'll be expected to engage in tax modeling and various forms of accounting, management, and investor reporting, including partnership accounting, Hypothetical Liquidation at Book Value (HLBV) modeling, yield tracking, and budget vs. actual analysis. You'll liaise with U.S. and Hyderabad-based asset managers, treasury, tax team, external consultants, and tax authorities for various tax related matters. Working on initiatives related to establishing, standardizing, optimizing, and documenting tax processes, workflows, and controls will be key. LOOKING FOR: - Chartered Accountants/Certified Public Accountants, with zero to two years of post-qualification work experience, who can work independently with limited direction and guidance - Candidates with working understanding of taxes in U.S. and assessments or any experience in the energy, real estate, or financial services sector (preferred but not must) - Candidates with excellent written and spoken communication skills - Candidates with understanding of tax laws, and an ability to read and interpret federal and state guidance, agreements and contracts accurately
