Job Role- US Taxation Manager Individual Tax HNI
Experience- 8-14years
Location- Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and review of complex US individual income tax returns (Form 1040) for high-net-worth individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Provide comprehensive US tax advisory services to HNI clients, including tax planning, estate and gift tax planning, and international tax matters, to minimize tax liabilities and maximize wealth preservation.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to address complex tax issues and provide well-reasoned solutions to clients, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service, to foster long-term partnerships.
- Oversee and mentor junior tax professionals, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and professional development, contributing to the growth of the team.
- Ensure compliance with all US tax filing deadlines and reporting requirements, minimizing the risk of penalties and interest charges for clients.
- Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities for clients through proactive tax planning strategies, enhancing their financial outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including tax partners and associates, to deliver integrated tax solutions to clients, leveraging the expertise of the firm.
- Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and regulations, communicating relevant information to clients and colleagues, to ensure compliance and informed decision-making.
- Represent clients before the IRS and other tax authorities, as needed, to resolve tax disputes and audits, protecting their interests and achieving favorable outcomes.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in US individual income tax compliance and planning, including experience with Form 1040 and related schedules.
- Proven ability to research and analyze complex tax issues, providing well-reasoned solutions and recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
- Strong client service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.
- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and clients.
