Summary: We are seeking highly analytical US Finance candidate to join the finance team for German Conglomerate based in Mumbai. US Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting with financial controllership, financial planning & analysis, financial forecasting, budgeting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Developing and managing financial strategies for the company's international operations

2.Monitoring and analyzing global financial markets

3.Overseeing international financial transactions and exchange operations

4.Managing financial risks associated with international business activities

5.Ensuring compliance with international financial regulations and standards

6.Preparing financial reports for senior management and stakeholders

7.Working closely with other departments to incorporate financial considerations into strategic decisions

8.Maintaining relationships with international banks, financial institutions, and investors

9.Managing and supervising finance teams across different countries

10.Conducting due diligence for international mergers and acquisitions

11.Developing and implementing strategies to minimize financial costs and maximize profits

12.Reviewing and suggesting improvements to the company's international financial policies

- Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the strategic vision of the Global Finance Center, aligning it with the overall organizational goals.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of subject matter experts and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development consistent with Stripe Operating and Leadership principles.

- Operational Excellence: Develop, implement or improve processes and share best practices throughout the organization. Regularly report on process performance with key stakeholders and provide/gather service feedback.

- Innovation: Drive innovation initiatives by identifying emerging trends and technologies, and lead efforts to pilot, adopt, and integrate innovative solutions into the organization.

- Collaboration: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the GFC and with other departments, breaking down silos and promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of the GFC's initiatives and activities, ensuring continuous improvement.

- Quality Assurance: Establish quality control and assurance standards to maintain high-quality output from the GFC, maintaining a strong focus on excellence and compliance.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote the GFC's mission and secure buy-in from key decision-makers.

Job Requirements:


1.Chartered Accountant with 5 to 8 years' experience in working in reputed Indian/ MNCs at least 5-6 years in a global or international capacity; should have handled various entities/subsidiary companies.

2.In-depth knowledge of US Finance/US Markets, financial statement analysis, and management reporting. Excellent with numbers.

3.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

4.Strong analytical and forecasting skills. Excellent communication and people skills.
