Job Title: US Tax Specialist Location: Remote (India-based) Shift Timings: 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST (Night Shift) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience with US tax preparation and representation. About the Role: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) to support our US-based client in handling individual and business tax matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of US tax laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently during US business hours. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts. - Assist with tax planning and advisory services throughout the year. - Respond to IRS notices and represent clients in audits, collections, and other IRS-related matters. - Ensure compliance with the latest tax regulations and updates. - Maintain accurate and organized tax documentation and records. - Communicate directly with clients to gather tax-related information and provide updates. - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure timely delivery. Requirements: - Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license from the IRS. - Strong knowledge of individual (1040), business (1120, 1120S, 1065), and other tax forms. - Experience using tax software such as Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, or ProSeries. - Familiarity with IRS procedures and client representation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during US hours (night shift IST). Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with US accounting firms or clients. - Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. - Proficiency with tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting platforms.
