Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled US Accountant Specialist a CPA firm and an American advisory company in delivering high-quality consulting and advisory services to US-based clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Receivable Management:

- Prepare, record, and reconcile Accounts Receivable (AR) journals on a regular basis.

- Ensure timely tracking of incoming payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.

- Maintain accuracy in customer accounts and support month-end closing activities.

2. General Ledger (GL) Posting & Maintenance:

- Perform accurate GL postings in accordance with US accounting standards.

- Ensure all transactions are recorded properly and assist in GL reconciliations.

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.

3. ERP & Accounting Software Usage:

- Work on accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other relevant ERP tools.

- Assist in system updates, data uploads, and maintaining financial records within the software.

- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across platforms.

4. US-Based Accounting Support:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for US clients, following US GAAP and other relevant standards.

- Prepare and review financial statements, tax-related documents, and compliance reports as required.

- Collaborate closely with US accounting teams to ensure the smooth execution of accounting tasks.

5. Support to CPA Firm & Advisory Company:

- Act as a point of contact for the CPA and advisory teams for routine accounting support.

- Assist in preparing documentation, reports, and schedules needed by consultants and advisors.

- Contribute to financial analysis, audit preparations, and client advisory activities.

6. Client & Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate effectively with US-based clients, advisors, and internal teams.

- Participate in calls, meetings, and email correspondence with overseas stakeholders.

- Present financial data, clarifications, or updates in a clear and professional manner.

7. Leadership & Team Development:

- Take ownership of responsibilities and guide junior team members when required.

- Contribute to building a positive, productive, and growth-oriented team culture.

- Demonstrate initiative and leadership qualities in handling tasks independently.

8. Work Ethics & Accountability:

- Maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.

- Take responsibility for assigned work and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

- Follow internal control processes and compliance requirements strictly.

9. Knowledge of US Accounting Practices:

- Apply understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and US taxation concepts in day-to-day work.

- Stay updated on changes in US accounting rules, industry regulations, and compliance norms.

- Ensure all financial activities adhere to US standards and business practices.
