Urek.ai - Chief Technology Officer

We are a stealth mode startup building a Generative AI product to optimize analytics for Shopify users. The founder is an IIT Guwahati and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus. With the MVP release set for 1st November, we are hiring a CTO to own the end-to-end development process alongside a lean engineering team (1 frontend, 1 backend).

Key Responsibilities & Leadership Expectations:

1. Define the product technology roadmap and ensure timely, scalable MVP delivery.

2. Lead by example, creating a team culture of open communication, respect, and ownership.

3. Mentor and empower engineers for rapid individual and team growth.

4. Collaborate with the founder to align product requirements and technical execution.

5. Demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset essential to early-stage teams.

Compensation: No salary initially; 10% company equity (ownership) will be granted depending on the impact after 6 months of joining.
