Urbanrise - Head - Artificial Intelligence

Job Responsibilities:-

1. Product Development and Leadership

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of AI-enabled product offerings.

- Oversee the end-to-end product life cycle from concept to launch.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions.

- Develop and maintain sophisticated AI software systems, including autonomous agents, neural networks, and deep learning systems.

- Articulate and document AI solutions architecture, and product documentation as per standard operating procedure; and share lessons learned from each project.

2. Internal customer Engagement and Solution Design

- Engage with functional heads who are the internal customers to understand their needs and challenges.

- Translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.

- Provide consultative support, ensuring the effective implementation of AI technologies.

- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to facilitate feedback and necessary adjustments.

3. Thought Leadership and Branding

- Drive AI thought leadership by presenting at conferences, webinars, and industry events.

- Author white papers, research papers, and case studies to showcase AI innovations.

- Build and maintain a portfolio of innovative and patentable AI products.

4. Leadership, Mentoring, and Collaboration

- Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and researchers.

- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.

- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related fields.

Desirable skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's & master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related strategic field

- Proven ability to lead, coach and grow engineering teams

- Expertise in resource planning, prioritization, and risk management

- Experience in driving software delivery from planning to release in a fast paced, agile environment.

- Be well versed with Software Development Life Cycle process, people/resource management.

- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, including technical debt management, release planning, and capacity estimation

- Expertise in machine learning and agentic AI or Gen AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras and LangChain is a bonus

- Solid working understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP)

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a bonus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is a must

- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts to nontechnical stake-hold is non-negotiable
