Role Overview:

As the Head of Design, you will spearhead the architectural vision and design strategy for our large-scale residential developments in Hyderabad. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team of architects, structural engineers, and interior designers to ensure that every project aligns with our brand standards of excellence and efficiency. You will act as the primary bridge between the management, external consultants, and construction teams, ensuring that design concepts are translated into buildable, cost-effective, and aesthetically superior real estate assets that drive market value and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle, from conceptualization and master planning to detailed architectural execution, ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

- Manage relationships with external architectural firms, consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity and strict adherence to project timelines.

- Oversee the optimization of floor plans and building layouts to maximize saleable area while maintaining high standards of occupant comfort and utility.

- Collaborate with the procurement and construction departments to ensure that design specifications are aligned with budget constraints and material availability.

- Ensure all design documentation complies with local building codes, municipal regulations, and safety standards to facilitate seamless project approvals.

- Mentor and guide the internal design team to foster a culture of innovation, technical precision, and continuous professional development.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in architectural design, urban planning, and building construction techniques, specifically within the residential real estate sector.

- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities to manage large, cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at the senior management level.

- Possess a high level of proficiency in architectural software and project management tools to oversee complex design workflows.

- Communicate complex design concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project vision and business objectives.

- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to navigate regulatory hurdles and site-specific design challenges effectively.

- Hold a degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a related field, with 13 to 26 years of progressive experience in the real estate or construction industry.

- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment, coordinating directly with project managers and site engineers to ensure design intent is realized on the ground.
