Urban Company started out as UrbanClap in Nov 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav and Varun realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented and offline. Customers found it difficult to avail quality services in a convenient manner, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators. About the job :

Urban Company is India's largest tech-enabled home services marketplace - operating at scale across cleaning, beauty, wellness, and home maintenance. We're looking for a performance marketer who lives in the bottom of the funnel: someone obsessed with converting high-intent users into first-time customers, squeezing CAC, and scaling what works. This role owns UC's paid acquisition engine across Search and Social - the channels that drive real installs and first bookings.

What you'll own

- Paid Social (Meta): Run performance-first Meta campaigns - conversion campaigns, app install campaigns, and dynamic product ads - optimising for CPO and install-to-booking rate, not just clicks.

- UAC / App campaigns: Manage Google UAC and Meta App Campaigns to drive new installs from high-intent audiences; optimise in-app event bidding toward first booking as the conversion goal.

- Paid Search (SEM): Own Google Search and PMax campaigns end-to-end - keyword strategy, match types, bid management, Quality Score optimisation, and ad copy testing - with a relentless focus on driving high-intent traffic that converts to first bookings.

- CAC & efficiency management: Set and manage CAC targets by channel and category; build spend pacing models to maximise new user volume within efficiency guardrails.

- Audience & targeting: Build high-intent audience segments using keyword intent signals, platform behavioural data, and first-party CRM lists; run retargeting flows to recapture drop-offs in the install-to-booking funnel.

- Landing page & conversion optimisation: Partner with product to identify and fix conversion bottlenecks between ad click - app install - first booking; brief and test landing page variants to improve post-click CVR.

- Attribution & MMP management: Own AppsFlyer/Adjust setup - campaign tagging, event mapping, cohort reporting, and fraud monitoring - to ensure clean, accurate new user attribution across channels.

- Creative for performance: Brief and iterate on direct-response creatives (static, carousel, search copy); run structured A/B tests on offers, CTAs, and formats; kill what doesn't convert fast.

- Reporting & forecasting: Maintain weekly performance dashboards (CPO, ROAS, install-to-booking rate, CAC by channel); build forward-looking acquisition forecasts tied to spend scenarios.

What we're looking for

1. 2-4 years of hands-on performance marketing experience at a consumer internet company, D2C brand, or digital agency - with a clear track record of driving new user/customer acquisition through paid Search and Social.

2. Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads (UAC, Search, PMax) and Meta Ads Manager (conversion campaigns, app installs, dynamic ads).

3. Strong command of bottom-funnel metrics: CAC, CPO, CPI, ROAS, install-to-booking rate, first-order conversion rate, and payback period.

4. Experience managing MMP platforms (AppsFlyer or Adjust) - event setup, attribution windows, cohort analysis, and fraud detection.

5. Analytically strong: able to build CAC forecasts and channel mix models in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL is a strong plus.

6. Bias for action: comfortable making fast, data-backed decisions on bids, budgets, and creative - without waiting for perfect information.

7. Graduation from a Tier 1/2 institute.
