Job Description: Regional Supply - Inventory Planner

Title: Regional Supply Inventory Planner

Reporting Manager: Regional SCM Head

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Activities

- Lead exercises for supply planning & setting inventory norms (lead time, safety stock, inventory health, Supply Planning) Support implementation and adoption of APS tools and inventory management dashboards (e. SONAR)

- Define allocation processes for constrained materials in alignment with Global CoE for the relevant region

- Participate in leadership meetings (regional, sub-regional, country /global) to review supply and inventory status, risks, and corrective actions

- Drive Supply Planning excellence in the region through process improvements and standardizations across the regions

Tactical Activities

- Run S&OP processes with sub-regional/country SCM and global S&OP CoE, aligning orders to demand and stock norms.

- Analyze excess, NCM, and SLOB reports; drive corrective actions with regional teams.

- Align production plans with inventory needs through coordination with plant planners.

- Collaborate with demand planning, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to balance inventory health and service levels

- Punch orders in the system and ensure accuracy in order entries

- Support source additions and coordinate with procurement for timely onboarding of new sources

Operational Activities

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure corrective actions for excess/short orders

- Conduct raw material stock reviews and track inventory-to-sales trends to minimize write-offs.

- Drive operational reviews and provide inputs on demand shifts, supply disruptions, and corrective actions in S&OP forums

Key KPIs: OTIF (Customer/ plant), Inventory Quality (NCM, Excess, SLOB) & Value (NOD, Stock compliance), SONAR & APS Utilization incl. adoption Classification: Restricted (R)
