Key Accountabilities : Internal Audit Processes : - Risk coverage - Percent completed vs. planned audits - Number of recommendations/audits - Actual vs. planned costs - Elapsed audit time start to finish - Conformance to policy and Standards Innovation &amp; Capabilities : - Number of innovative improvements implemented - Number of process improvements - Percentage of surprise risk events Management Audit : - Average number of recommendations per audit - Percent of recommendations implemented by corrective action date - Cost savings - Changes to processes Qualifications : Chartered Accountant Experience : Chartered Accountant With 5 to 8 Years Experience in Internal audit firms of reputed private consultancy / Big 5 consultancy companies Functional Requirements : - Should possess knowledge of the following activities in Internal audit - Internal Audit &amp; Controls /Risk assessment. Good in report writing. Understanding of internal controls &amp; financial records. - Understands department functions, various records maintained &amp; accounting systems to conduct Internal auditing &amp; analysis of the procedural system of all Commercial functions, project sites, Project Execution Efficiency audits, Civil audit, Instrumentation audit, Mechanical &amp; engineering audit, Tender Management, audit of Purchases, Stores, Stocks &amp; Inventory Management, Sales, Marketing, Dispatches, Accounts, Capital expenditures, Disbursements, Finance &amp; Treasury, Personnel &amp; Administration, Production, Transport, Manpower, Civil activities &amp; Quality management. - Has knowledge of developing a risk mitigation index &amp; developing internal controls on the lines of Sarbanes Oxley act to strengthen internal controls in the organization. - Planning the scope of audit and prepare the audit program on the basis of risk based approach, using Risk and Control frameworks, the key control points, safeguard of company resources, and accurate presentation of financial results and possibility of misappropriation. - To analyse data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, fraud, or lack of compliance with the management policies and procedures. - Work with the Process heads to have meaningful reviews with continued focus on Identifying areas of improvement and develop and monitor corrective action plans - Draft internal audits reports recommending appropriate improvements to controls and assessing the adequacy of the corrective action taken and provide management with sufficient information to address any observed deficiency. - Follow up audit is conducted to review implementation of agreed plans of action and achievement of savings identified. - Comprehensive study &amp; implementation of cost efficient and reduction measures &amp; identifying potential saving areas. - Document systems, SOP, Guidelines, Checklists &amp; introduce adequate control systems, setting formats and procedures that set out exactly what and how to go about a task. - Assess the effectiveness of MIS at various levels for all commercial functions mentioned above.
