About Organization:

Uno Minda is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of innovative automotive components and systems for OEMs, with a strong presence across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and two- and three-wheelers. The Hosur Switch Plant, located in Tamil Nadu, is a key manufacturing facility within Uno Minda's Switch Division, producing automotive switching systems and handlebar switch assemblies for leading OEMs. The plant supports Uno Minda's leadership position in automotive switches through advanced manufacturing, quality-focused operations, and robust product development capabilities.

Role Purpose:

Lead Uno Minda's high-growth 2-Wheeler Switch Operations at Hosur, managing multiple manufacturing locations and driving manufacturing excellence, operational transformation, customer satisfaction, and organizational capability. This leadership role is responsible for building a future-ready manufacturing ecosystem that delivers world-class performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation while supporting the business's long-term growth strategy.

Leadership Mandate:

- Provide strategic leadership to manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, agile, and customer-focused execution.

- Build scalable manufacturing capability to support business growth, operational excellence, and new product introductions.

- Drive world-class performance through Lean Manufacturing, digital transformation, automation, and continuous improvement.

- Develop high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

- Partner closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business results and execute Uno Minda's manufacturing strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 20+ years of progressive experience in Automotive or Auto Component manufacturing, with significant experience leading large manufacturing operations.

- Postgraduate qualification in Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain, or Business Management will be an added advantage.

- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, manufacturing transformation, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

- Experience managing multiple manufacturing locations will be a distinct advantage.
