About the role : The 'Manager / Sr. Manager - Compliance' position will be responsible for performing compliance, audit assignments and risk assessments at all manufacturing sites and Corporate office of the company. The job would require frequent travel to manufacturing sites. Candidates ready for travel upto 15 days in a month should only apply. Job Description : - Responsible for accentuating compliance culture across the organization by developing, maintaining and reviewing, vetting and negotiating code of conduct, anti-bribery and compliance clauses in agreements, compliance policies, circulation of compliance communications. - Advise management with respect to formulation of policies, procedures within legal framework and ensure that current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, transactions are in compliance with all relevant laws & regulations. - Identifying compliance obligations for business working / framework under different business locations (Data Protection/Information Security and Privacy Compliance in partnership with the IT team; Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption Policy compliance; Monitoring and partnering with internal Committees managing the POSH Compliance, etc.) for the Corporate Office, Manufacturing facilities and Plants, mines, sales and marketing offices and other locations of the Company. - Monitoring the Whistle Blower framework in the company. - Establishing and managing Compliance Framework of the Company, relevant for Mining, Manufacturing and Marketing industry. - Managing Review (Audit) Mechanism for timely identification and remediation of Compliance Gaps to de-risk the organization against consequences of Non-Compliance, including managing the compliance management tool of the Company. - Ensure all business transactions relevant to Labour, Taxation, Banking, Secretarial, Industry-specific, and other laws comply with applicable laws and regulations and internal rules. - Create a compliant and robust audit schedule with actions, objective, and review to be performed - Conduct regular compliance audits against the plan. - Prepare the Internal Audit Report on compliance review. - Tracking all compliance issues identified in compliance review. - Facilitate process owners in mitigating the compliance risks. - Drive the trainings to educate employees, including new joinees, with respect to company's Code of Conduct, standards & procedures. - Audit and Investigation related to compliance matters, as required, as per the compliance framework. - Regularly reviewing the company's compliance program and recommending appropriate revisions and modifications, including advising administrative leadership of potential compliance areas. Preferred candidate profile : - CA/CS and LLB with 5 -7 years of work-experience in the 'Compliance' team of a manufacturing organization with multi-plants and have experience in working in a team. - Good understanding of the regulatory environment, including Labour, Taxation, EHS, secretarial, Industry-specific, and other laws - Hands-on Experience in Compliance / Legal audits for large and mid-size manufacturing companies - Should be updated with the latest regulatory changes in the Indian regulatory environment - Attention to detail
