Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in medical device sales, hospital procurement, government tenders, GeM portal sales, and medical equipment rental services.
The candidate will lead business development across private hospitals, diagnostic chains, government procurement platforms, and rental/lease-based healthcare equipment programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate enquiries and provide market intelligence for effectively marketing such equipment
- Promote and sell medical devices and equipment to corporate hospitals, private hospitals, and nursing homes.
- Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations.
- Government Tender opportunities and preparation of suitable bids and execution in the event tender is awarded
- Where necessary develop distributor , dealer network .
- Set up Customer Service and Service Coordination.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 15 years experience in medical device sales or hospital equipment business.
- Proven experience selling to hospitals, diagnostic labs, and healthcare institutions.
- Experience managing government tenders and GeM portal procurement.
]Preferred Product Experience:
- ICU equipment
- Diagnostic laboratory equipment
- Patient monitoring systems
- Imaging equipment
- Biomedical cold chain equipment
Key Competencies:
- Strong hospital network across India
- Understanding of hospital procurement process
- Knowledge of government healthcare procurement
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences
- MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Annual sales revenue targets
- Number of hospitals onboarded
- Government tenders awarded
- Dealer network growth
- Candidates must have experience in medical electronics devices/ equipment.
