Senior Product Manager - Mutual Funds Domain

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager Mutual Funds to own and scale Univests Mutual Fund product ecosystem across discovery, onboarding, transactions, and portfolio experience.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering, compliance, operations, and growth teams to deliver intuitive, compliant, and scalable MF products that drive adoption, AUM growth, and long-term user retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end Mutual Fund product lifecycle, including ideation, PRD creation, launch, and continuous optimization.
Design and optimize user journeys for:
- Mutual Fund discovery
- Investments and SIPs
- Redemptions and switches
- Portfolio tracking and insights
- Work closely with backend, mobile app, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless and compliant execution.
- Drive key product metrics including adoption, conversion, AUM growth, and retention.
- Ensure continuous alignment with SEBI, AMFI guidelines, and manage integrations with RTAs.
- Track regulatory updates and translate them into timely product changes.
- Analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitor offerings to improve product experience and differentiation.
- Balance customer experience, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes.
Requirements:
- 4 to 7 years of product management experience in fintech, mutual funds, or broking platforms.
Strong understanding of the Mutual Fund ecosystem, including:
- AMCs
- RTAs
- KYC and compliance flows
- MF transaction lifecycle
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing or startup environments.
- Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into product decisions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
