Univest - Senior Product Manager

As Product Manager Mutual Funds, you will lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of Univests Mutual Fund advisory and distribution product, delivering a customer-centric and compliant investing experience.

Your responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

Define the vision and release plans for Univests mutual fund platform based on user needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Feature Development

Translate investor requirements into user stories, manage the product backlog, and collaborate with engineering and design teams to build fund discovery tools, goal-based recommendations, and analytics dashboards.

Platform Integrations

Lead integrations with transaction platforms (BSE StAR MF, NSE NMF II, MF Utility) and third-party APIs for KYC, payments, and order processing.

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with compliance, operations, and customer support to ensure smooth transactions, post-trade processes, and regulatory reporting.

Data-Driven Iteration

Define metrics, track user behaviour and fund performance, and use insights to drive continuous product improvement.

What are we looking for (must haves)

- 2-4 years of product management experience.

- With at least 2 years in the mutual funds product.

- Deep understanding of Indias mutual fund ecosystem, transaction platforms, and regulatory landscape (SEBI, AMFI).

- Strong analytical, prioritisation, and communication skills to work effectively across teams.

- Customer-first mindset with a passion for simplifying investment journeys.

- Experience with digital KYC (Aadhaar-based e-KYC, video-KYC) and AML processes.

Your good to haves:

- Experience working on subscription-based products.

- Exposure to investment advisory services.

- Being an active options trader or having first-hand experience in trading.
