Head - Central Function Audit About the job: Company Description: Unity Small Finance Bank is a New Age Bank that leverages best-in-class technology to deliver Safe, Convenient & Simple to use Banking Services. Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role located in L&T Seawoods, Navi Mumbai. The role involves Risk based Internal Audit, Process Audits, IS Audits and has integrated approach of audit in developing and delivering IAD's strategy and team management. Role Purpose & Objective: - Assist Head Internal Audit & Vigilance in efficient management of Internal Audit activities in the Bank as per Organizational needs - To assist in performance of annual risk assessment for development of audit universe and RBAP - Ensure timely completion of RBAP Key Duties & Responsibilities of the role: Business/ Financials: - Identify key risks to achieve business objectives including regulatory compliance's - Provide inputs for development of RBAP - Ensure zero deviation in scope and timelines of RBI mandated audits - Review work papers of audits by team and ensure compliance to IAD's processes/manuals - Evaluate auditable data for completeness, integrity, accuracy and relevance by self and ensure the same by team - Ensure to release draft audit reports and final audit reports on agreed timelines with functional heads - Work with auditee in a consulting role to add value - Ensure SMART action plans from management on audit report - Inform or update Head Internal Audit & Vigilance of cases where management accepts risk. - Assist Head Internal Audit & Vigilance on investigations matters Customer (Both Internal & External): - Ensure audit reports circulated or distributed meet the quality criteria i.e. accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, complete, and timely - Ensure that risks highlighted in the audit report are relevant - Co-ordinate with auditee for timely implementation of action plans - Promptly ensure to provide documentation of audit assignments upon requests by RBI or other regulator at the time of their AFI or information called for - Maintain documentation and audit trails demonstrating effective operation of issue tracking and closure mechanism and maintain relevant records - Ensure complete documentation of work-papers by self and team in line with RBI requirements (as requested at the time of their AFI or otherwise) - Maintain robust Internal MIS mechanism and submit information to management on prompt basis - Ensure to adhere to IAD's policy and manual in the conduct of audits, consulting reviews and maintain audit evidences thereof - Ensure complete adherence to QAIP for central function audits - Assist Head Internal Audit and Vigilance to carry out Internal QAIP testing Innovation & Learning: - To attend IIA, ICAI and ISACA programs on IA, Risk Management and Information Security, (minimum 12 man days or 96 hours in FY) - Ensure upskill self and team through various certifications on Banking and Micro-Banking understanding from IIBF, NIBM or IIA, ICAI or ISACA or any other institute of repute - Ensure to participate (self & team) in the internal learning and development programs by HR or other Business units Minimum Requirement of Knowledge & Skills: Functional Skills: - Manage the expectations of Stakeholders - Issuance of Quality Audit Reports - Risk Management skills, understanding of RCSA, KRI's etc. - In-depth understanding of Governance Frameworks and Auditing Standards - Keep abreast with regulatory changes and industry standards Behavioral Skills: - Effective Communication skills - Strong Leadership - Attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Ability to deal with all levels of Management, specifically CXO positions - Ability to promote the values of Internal Audit Educational Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant Mandatory - Certified Internal Auditor and ISA (ICAI) or CISA- Good to have Experience: - Minimum 15+ years of experience in Risk Based Internal Audit, Process Audits, IS Audits and integrated approach to audits of which 10+ years in developing and delivering on IAD's strategy and team management
