Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Planning Manager to join our team in Navi Mumbai. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's business continuity and disaster recovery plans. You will work closely with various departments, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure the bank's resilience and ability to continue critical business functions in the event of disruptions. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding the bank's assets, protecting customer interests, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans, policies, and procedures to minimize business disruption.

- Conduct business impact analyses (BIAs) to identify critical business functions and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities.

- Design and implement strategies for business continuity, including data backup and recovery, alternate site arrangements, and communication plans.

- Conduct regular testing and exercises of business continuity plans to validate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

- Manage crisis management activities, including incident response, communication, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

- Monitor and assess emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to business continuity and disaster recovery.

- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.

- Collaborate with IT, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment of business continuity plans with overall organizational goals.

- Report on the status of business continuity planning and testing activities to senior management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

- Proven expertise in conducting business impact analyses and risk assessments.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to business continuity, compliance, crisis management and risk management.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in managing crisis situations and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in a relevant field such as business administration, information technology, or risk management.
