As a Consultant in our Research Search & Analytics practice, you will be at the forefront of providing actionable business intelligence. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous primary and secondary research, synthesizing complex data, and translating findings into clear, impactful recommendations for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Market and Competitive Intelligence: Lead and execute in-depth research projects to analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and industry dynamics.
- Data Analysis & Synthesis: Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from a wide range of sources, including proprietary databases, industry reports, expert interviews, and public domain information.
- Strategic Insights: Translate raw data into compelling narratives and actionable insights, supporting client teams in developing effective business strategies.
- Report & Presentation Development: Create polished, high-impact reports, dashboards, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders, communicating complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with client teams to understand their research needs, scope projects, and present findings in a consultative capacity.
- Tool Proficiency: Utilize and stay current with advanced research tools, search methodologies, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of new analytical frameworks and research methodologies to enhance team capabilities and service offerings.
Candidate Profile:
Education: An MBA from a premier business school is mandatory.
Experience: 1-3 years of post-MBA experience in a consulting, market research, or business intelligence role. Experience from a top-tier firm is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a proven ability to interpret large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Research Acumen: Deep understanding of various research methodologies, including primary and secondary research, and the ability to apply them strategically.
Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with data visualization tools. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) is highly desirable.
