
Position : Head of Data & Analytics.
Location : Bangalore, Karnataka.
Qualification : Bacherlor's or Master's in business management, analytics, engineering, technology or a related discipline.
Experience : 10+ Years (Background in FMCG/large industry is preferred ).
Responsibilities:
- Data & Analytics Strategy and Roadmap.
- Develop data & analytics strategy and recommend new advanced solutions based on a deep knowledge of business needs, industry trends, best practices and emerging products and services to bring value to the business.
- Define, own and deploy roadmaps for data and analytics services, drive adoption of services defined in the roadmap; leverage and support existing architectural standard platforms; ensure roadmap fits into the global integrated enterprise roadmaps, drive governance of technologies and standardization of products and models.
- Establish strong credibility with business leaders and stakeholders through functional domain knowledge, deep understanding of data sets, and expert knowledge of products and solutions.
- Orchestrate and prioritise high value analytics needs/solutions/use-cases.
- Promote and drive adoption of existing/new solutions in the market.
- Communicate and evangelize how data can be applied to enable the company strategy.
Solution Delivery & Adoption:
- Develop and deliver BI and Advanced Analytics solutions for high impact business opportunities.
- Engage and orchestrate data scientists and analytics professionals across the organization to leverage the power of data and analytics for growth.
- Ability to delve deep into the business requirements and build solutions to solve problems/pain points.
- Lead a team responsible for functional design and delivery of key analytics solutions and products.
- Qualify and quantify value delivered through solutions.
- Leverage analytics and data science best practices to deliver leading solutions Establish and maintain insights/analytics library of best practices and use cases for reuse and scale it globally/regionally.
- Through extensive experience with market data, partner data, and other third-party data sources, determine how different data sets can be combined with company owned data to answer challenging business questions.
- Effectively balance cost, time, value, resources, and complexity in designing and delivering analytics capabilities.
- Drive process to cleanse and verify the integrity of data used for analysis - perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner.
Internal / External Collaboration:
- Work closely with APAC Head of Data & Analytics and cocreate in building data and analytics strategy, solutions, operational model and efficiencies.
- Own the data & analytics portfolio for UBL working with other Digital Teams in the organisation.
- Work with global counterparts and deliver on key product roadmaps and feature sets using agile methods via matrixed teams.
- Engage with global, regional and other markets' stakeholders and demonstrate thought leadership to leverage the power of data and analytics technologies for growth.
- Manage or participate in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies, analyze and test products, perform proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies and/or methods.
