Unit Manager - Events, Corporate Services & Administration PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Accountabilities associated with the job) : 1. Travel Management (Domestic and International) - Plan and execute seamless Hotel Desk and Travel Management operations support to users in the organization - Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders at vendor organizations (e.g. travel partners, hotels, other services) to promote the interest and drive compliance to establishes SLA and to leverage best rates and service quality - Manage personal engagements of Chairman including quarterly/annual board meeting of various group companies - Participate in the negotiation process with vendors for events, reviewing terms and conditions, related costs - Partner with Business Units to determine themes, ideas and design for events; operational execution of events and resolution of escalated issues, as required - Review reports (e.g. last-minute booking, last minute cancellation, hotel reports) submitted by vendor and draw inferences that can be useful to optimize costs, identify discrepancies and inform process controllers - Drive vendors to process invoices within established timelines, and resolve any escalated issues of vendor payments in coordination with the Finance team - Ensure vendor payments are processed in the agreed timelines - Ensure adherence to all policies related to Travel and Hotel; Identify and highlight to supervisor, any changes required to the policies based on user feedback and changing business operations - Cater to ad hoc requirements that may arise in the given portfolio. 2.
