
Role Purpose:
The Unit HR Head will lead the end-to-end HR function for the hospital unit, ensuring strong manpower planning, timely hiring, smooth HR operations, payroll oversight, employee engagement, and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function for the hospital unit, aligning people practices with business and operational needs.
- Drive recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, and support functions to ensure timely closure of critical positions.
- Oversee core HR operations including onboarding, employee records, attendance coordination, confirmations, transfers, and separations.
- Manage and review payroll inputs in coordination with payroll/shared services to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
- Partner with unit leadership and department heads on manpower planning, organization structure, and workforce productivity.
- Ensure implementation of HR policies, statutory compliance, disciplinary processes, and employee grievance handling.
- Build employee engagement and retention initiatives across the unit.
- Track HR dashboards and MIS covering hiring status, attrition, attendance trends, vacancies, and key people metrics.

Candidate Profile:
- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 15-18 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to unit HR leadership.
- 2-3 years of recent experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and payroll coordination.
- Ability to work closely with hospital operations teams and manage HR in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference for candidates from South India, given business and cultural fit requirements.
