
1. Hospital Operations & Patient Flow
- Ensure timely admission, treatment initiation, and discharge of patients.
- Monitor bed occupancy, ALOS, OT utilization, ICU/HDU/Ward flow.
- Resolve daily operational bottlenecks immediately.
- Ensure no treatment delays due to coordination gaps.
2. Clinical Coordination
- Act as the single point of coordination between doctors, nursing, RMOs, pharmacy, lab, OT, ICU, and front desk.
- Ensure doctors' orders are executed correctly and on time.
- Escalate clinical or operational risks proactively.
3. Revenue, Billing & Collections
- Ensure Ayushman / TPA / cash billing is done accurately and on time.
- Track approvals, enhancements, package clarity, and pending payments.
- Ensure zero revenue leakage due to operational lapses.
- Daily review of IPD billing, collections, and pending cases.
4. Team Management & Discipline
- Manage nursing staff, front desk, ward boys, housekeeping, RMOs, and coordinators.
- Ensure duty rosters, attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly reviews.
- Take corrective actions for non-performance.
5. Patient Experience & Grievance Handling
- Ensure high standards of patient and attendant communication.
- Handle escalations, complaints, and sensitive patient cases personally.
- Ensure compassionate yet professional care delivery.
6. Compliance & SOP Adherence
- Ensure adherence to hospital SOPs, NABH (if applicable), biomedical waste, infection control, and statutory norms.
- Ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Maintain registers, logs, and daily reports.
7. Reporting & MIS
- Share daily operational report (Admissions, Discharges, Occupancy, Revenue, Issues).
- Weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Highlight risks, gaps, and improvement areas proactively.
