Unit Head - Corporate Collateral Valuation Group (CCVG)

Location Mumbai

No of years of experience : 10 to 15 years

- Experience in Banking with real estate segment within depth knowledge of related RBI regulations is must.

Qualification :

Any Postgraduate in any specialization, B. Tech/ B. E with specialization in Civil constructions is Preferred

Role Summary :

The role incumbent is responsible for handling end to end Real estate valuation process from initiation till final acceptance of the same including the adherence of sanctioned terms along with technical aspects.

Job Description:

- Responsible for leading continuous improvement in process, and valuation aspects.

- Ensuring time bound resolution of queries raised by stakeholders Business /Risk and other support units.

- In depth knowledge of real-estate based lending and other RBI regulations related to all type of collaterals/Securities.

- Risk Evaluation: Evaluation of different Risks related to underlying Security i.e Real estate Properties/Projects

- Internal Controls/Audit/Statutory Audits: Liasoning with Internal Auditors/Stat Auditors for the queries related to above & providing regular feedbacks for process improvements so as to avoid any Audit issues.

- Grooming the team for proper Data & MIS Management of entire collaterals for further analysis

- Vendor Management : Managing external valuation agencies, involvement in empanelment & regular reviews of valuers/vendors.

- Maintenance of requisite TAT through vendors & internal process housed under the team

- Plan and conduct meetings and presentations related to implementation of Collateral related activities

- Handle team conducting the activities of Initiation of due diligence services (Valuations/Stock Audits), Negotiations, Vetting of reports, checking sanction condition related to collateral value, recording collateral values in system, Monitoring the entire activities w.r.t adherence & trend analysis of collateral values being submitted for regulatory reporting

- Visiting properties on need basis.
