Job Summary
The Manager - Corporate Strategy will be a key member of the central strategy team, responsible for providing analytical horsepower and project management leadership for high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization.
This role involves working directly with senior leadership to formulate long-term corporate plans, evaluate new market entries, and drive operational efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Management: Lead and execute cross-functional strategic projects (e.g., cost optimization, M&A due diligence, business portfolio review, digital transformation) from ideation through execution.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to identify potential threats and growth opportunities.
- Long-Range Planning: Support the annual strategic planning and three-to-five-year long-range planning process, coordinating inputs from various business unit heads and functional leaders.
- Business Case Development: Build robust financial models and comprehensive business cases for major investments, new product/service launches, and market entry strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Design and track key strategic metrics (KPIs) and operational dashboards to monitor the organization's progress against strategic goals, providing insightful commentary and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Internal Consulting: Act as an internal consultant for business leaders, solving complex business problems and driving alignment on strategic direction across departments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-8 years of professional experience, with a significant portion in a role focused on strategic analysis (e.g., strategy consulting, internal strategy team, or investment banking).
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with and influencing CXO-level stakeholders.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for executive presentations and Excel for financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
