Unifi Capital - Assistant Vice President/Senior Manager - PMS & AIF Operations

The AVP / Senior Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end operations of Unifi's Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) verticals. The role demands leadership, process discipline, and a deep understanding of financial operations, compliance, and reporting standards applicable to SEBI-regulated entities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the complete PMS and AIF operations of the firm.

- Oversee the accounting, record maintenance, and financial reconciliation of PMS clients and AIF investors.

- Manage annual audits of client accounts and internal audits of PMS & AIF operations.

- Independently handle regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with SEBI and related authorities.

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings, client statements, monthly SoAs, and investor reports.

- Reconcile client bank and demat accounts (BRS and DP reconciliations) within stipulated timelines.

- Ensure accurate and prompt SEBI reporting for both PMS and AIF activities.

- Collaborate with the Head of Operations and the Projects Team to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls.

- Liaise with external stakeholders, including custodians, trustees, auditors, tax advisors, and legal consultants.

- Coordinate with software vendors to resolve operational or technical issues promptly.

- Support compliance reporting, MIS preparation, and other operational deliverables.

- Address client and investor queries efficiently and professionally.

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMS / Mutual Fund operations in a mid to senior management capacity.

- Familiarity with Wealth Spectrum or equivalent back-office software is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to multitask and work effectively across internal teams and external partners.

Education:

Undergraduate/Postgraduate: Degree in Commerce.

Professional Qualification (preferred): CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
