Unibic Foods is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Operations Manager - Modern Trade to lead and support our North & West India operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of key account management, distributor/channel handling, and execution excellence in modern trade within the FMCG sector. Key Responsibilities (KRA): - Drive sales operations and execution across modern trade accounts in North & West India. - Manage relationships with key accounts and modern trade chains (e.g., Reliance, DMart, Big Bazaar, etc.). - Plan and implement region-specific sales strategies and trade promotions. - Collaborate with the national key account team to ensure alignment of goals and promotional activities. - Monitor ROI and effectiveness of promotions and suggest improvements. - Ensure availability, visibility, and proper merchandising of products across all modern trade outlets. - Conduct regular reviews with regional distributors and internal stakeholders. - Track secondary sales, stock replenishments, and order planning in coordination with supply chain teams. - Identify new business opportunities within modern trade formats and initiate account activation plans. - Drive operational efficiency through improved forecasting, billing, and claim processing. - Provide sales analysis, competitor tracking, and monthly business reviews. Skillsets Required: - Proven experience in modern trade/channel sales in FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods sectors. - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with large format retailers. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-based decision making. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and sales data analysis tools. - Ability to handle cross-functional coordination with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, accounts). - Self-driven, strategic thinker with execution excellence. - Willingness to travel across North and West regions for business needs.
