Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Product Analyst to join our dynamic product team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving product development and strategy by leveraging data insights to understand user behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform decision-making. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define, analyze, and iterate on product features, ensuring they align with business goals and customer needs. Your work will directly impact the user experience and the overall success of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze product performance data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization, providing actionable insights to product managers and stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor product health and identify opportunities for growth, contributing to the overall product strategy.
- Perform competitive analysis to understand market trends and identify opportunities to differentiate our products, informing product roadmap decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and reports, influencing product decisions and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track product performance and provide insights to stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and extract actionable insights to drive product improvements.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools to query, analyze, and present data effectively.
- Experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of product changes.
- Strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies, including product strategy, competitive analysis, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a product analyst role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
