Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified finance professional with 5+ years of experience across accounting, audit, or financial reporting, preferably with a public accounting background. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP, along with hands-on experience in month-end close, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and financial statement preparation. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Analyzing key Balance Sheet and P&L accounts and preparing and posting US GAAP and local GAAP journals.

- Managing month-end close activities, including journal preparation and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

- Preparing monthly legal entity performance analysis and management accounts.

- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with local accounting standards.

- Preparing financial statements for legal entities under FRS 101, FRS 102, and IFRS.

- Liaising with external auditors for the timely completion of statutory audits.

- Ensuring timely submission of financial and non-financial information to relevant local authorities.

- Preparing VAT and Corporate Tax returns and supporting ad-hoc management reporting and analysis.

Requirements:

- Holding 5+ years of experience in audit, finance, accounting, or financial reporting, preferably within Public Accounting.

- Possessing a CA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.

- Demonstrating strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.

- Having hands-on experience with UK GAAP and financial statement preparation under FRS 101 and FRS 102.

- Having experience in month-end close, journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Demonstrating exposure to statutory audits, tax accounting, VAT, and local tax regimes.

- Holding a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.

- Demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
