Ujjivan Small Finance Bank - Manager - Assets Strategy

Key Responsibilities:

- Support creation and periodic review of the Bank's medium- to long-term Assets Strategy in alignment with organizational priorities.

- Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans with measurable milestones across Retail, SME, Corporate, and Agri Lending portfolios.

- Collaborate with product, credit, risk, and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

- Develop and monitor asset deployment strategies to achieve target yields, maintain balanced portfolio mix, and manage concentration risks.

- Identify and drive initiatives aimed at sustainable asset growth, improved portfolio profitability, and enhanced channel productivity.

- Support initiatives that promote risk-adjusted growth and efficient capital utilization.

- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.

- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting the Bank's lending strategy.

- Provide data-driven insights to support leadership decisions on portfolio expansion, diversification, and innovation.

- Define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness and outcomes of strategic initiatives.

- Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting to senior management through dashboards and review frameworks.

- Support annual strategic planning and quarterly business reviews for the assets portfolio.

- Partner with Finance, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between growth strategy, credit quality, and cost objectives.

- Support governance processes for evaluating new product proposals, policy changes, and portfolio strategies.

Education:

MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification in Finance, Strategy, or Banking.

Experience:

- Minimum: 8-12 years of progressive experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Strategic Consulting.

- Experience in Assets Strategy, Credit Portfolio Management, Business Planning, or Performance Management preferred.
