Description:
ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE:
- This role prepares Credit assessment notes with detailed financial analysis for lending cases to various NBFCs and MFIs and presenting to Credit Committee.
- The incumbent meets clients and completes due diligence exercise as part of Credit appraisal process.
- Manage complete credit appraisal and due diligence on credit cases within defined TAT.
- Proper maintenance of Credit files as per Internal guidelines and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor portfolio assigned on regular basis and reporting any covenant breach/abnormal events to Management and suggesting remedial actions.
- Manage quicker TAT for processing cases
- Use Rating models to complete rating for all cases assigned
- Monitor of portfolio assigned on regular basis, testing financial covenants and periodic review of assigned portfolio
- Maintain timely review/renewal of all cases on due dates
- Maintain all Credit files systematically and in compliance with all Internal and regulatory guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in credit appraisal, risk analysis, or financial due diligence, preferably in a bank, NBFC, or rating agency.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and ratio analysis.
- Familiarity with credit rating methodologies and internal rating models.
- Knowledge of RBI and NBFC regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
